Fire Hydrant Testing
Our skilled and experienced team can test both main types of fire hydrants: wet barrel and dry barrel hydrants. As we test and inspect the fire hydrant, there are many items we look for, including:
- Cracked or missing caps
- Proper above-ground height
- Inspect leaky or busted nozzles, valves, and other parts
- Check for obstructions
- Make sure water pressure is good
Our test results are reported to the proper local authorities, so you won’t have to worry about the paperwork.
Fire Pump Testing
The National Fire Protection Association requires fire pump testing. These tests are used to measure and determine a fire pump’s flow and pressure. There are two main frequencies of testing: annual and monthly.
Annual Pump Testing
Annual fire pump testing is also called an annual flow test. These tests determine and measure the pressure and flow.
Monthly Pump Testing
Electric motor pumps require monthly testing from the NFPA. We look for many technical aspects to ensure your pump functions optimally.
